To deliver messages submitted through our website to our staff inbox at campmaxxnj@gmail.com, our website backend uses the Gmail API on behalf of Camp Maxx's own Gmail account.
Specifically:

gmail.sendscope only to send emails from our own Camp Maxx Gmail account so that website form submissions arrive in our inbox. - We do not read, store, or transfer the contents of the Camp Maxx Gmail mailbox to any external server, third party, or human reviewer.
- We do not use Gmail data, or data derived from Gmail data, to train generalized or large language models.
- We do not use Gmail data for serving advertisements.
- Access tokens used to call the Gmail API are stored only on our own server and are used only by automated server-side code that delivers form submissions.
4. How we share information
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:
- With service providers that operate parts of our infrastructure (for example, our domain registrar, our DNS provider, and the cloud host that runs our website server). These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by their own privacy commitments.

5. Data retention
We keep form submissions and related correspondence in our Gmail inbox for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a record of communications with camp families and applicants. We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide, including serving the site over HTTPS, restricting administrative access to our web server, and storing Gmail API credentials only on the server that needs them.
